Hoover has some new tank mates

Jeanie talked me into getting some more fish.

So, yesterday, while we were out running errands, we bought eight small neon tetras, and a small spotted corydoras.

The character of the tank is very different now.

The goldfish were very slow moving. They just ambled around the tank.

The neons vacillate between twitchy frenetic flashes, and almost-still schooling in a corner of the tank.

Cory (I'm not going to bother naming the neons) alternates between just sitting on the bottom, and casual scurrying around the bottom looking for tidbits.

The new fishes are much smaller than the goldfish were, so they are a little harder to see from my desk. But, I love the blue and red "lights" of the neons as they flash about the tank.
