Television Addict

Okay, I admit it. I am a television addict.

Yes, I know that it is "the boob tube" and that I should seek "better" ways to spend my precious free time, but I love TV.

I am so happy that the new season has started.

This site has a nice one page weekly prime-time grid listing.

So far, I like Las Vegas and Two And A Half Men on Monday night. I'm about burned out with the CBS early evening comedy lineup.

On Tuesday nights, Jeanie likes Whoopi and Happy Family, but I'm not impressed with either. I enjoyed Navy CIS, and we both are glad to see Judging Amy return. We can't wait for 24 to start its third season on October 28th.

Wednesday sees the return of Ed and West Wing, two of our absolute favorites. I couldn't make it all the way through Brotherhood Of Poland, N.H. Enterprise looks like it might be a little more stimulating this season, so I will be taping it for time shifted viewing, and I hope to check out Karen Sisco.

NBC appears to still have a lock on the Thursday night 8-10 block. I watched the premiere of Threat Matrix, which I found plodding and boring.

Friday night should be an interesting contest between the three networks, with all three offering potentially strong lineups. Right now, I'm guessing we will stick with CBS for real-time viewing, and tape a few of the new shows for possible later consumption.

Jeanie got me hooked on The District last year, so I am looking forward to its return on Saturday.

Sunday will definitely have American Dreams and Alias on our watch list, and I am guessing we will tape The Lyon's Den for day shifted viewing.

Yes, I know that is a bunch of hours that I could put to much more productive activities, but, all work and no play makes David a dull boy, and everyone needs to have some vice, no?
